The OM-6040CB X-Ray system combines conventional transmission imaging with Compton Scatter imaging into a system ideally suited for small parcel screening at airports, government offices and other high threat buildings.
With a tunnel size of 600mm (W) x 400m (H) the system provides comprehensive state-of-the-art imaging and rapid inspection of small articles. |

Technology：
Dual energy transmission imaging combines the difference in attenuation at different energies of a given material to identify a class of material through the use of a color presentation for the operator.

Images produced from the Compton scatter (more commonly known as Backscatter) reveal the presence of low atomic number material in a given inspected article through a brighter than expected image; low-Z material such as drugs or explosives [Z typically between 10 and 18] absorb less radiation than high density material such as iron and therefore reflect more x-rays.
A detector positioned on the same side as the source will collect image data that reveals the level of Backscatter and hence potentially the presence of organic material. Unlike transmission imaging, the x-rays do not need to pass through the article for generation of an image to be possible
