OM-A/III Air Cargo Inspection Systems, 4MeV

Overview

Overview

Introduced as a solution for the rapid online non-intrusive inspection of air cargo and palletized containers, the system can be linked directly to in place air freight roller conveyors.

Incorporating a high energy x-ray accelerator (or isotopic source) the design is simple in structure has high penetration and produces images with high resolution. The inspection tunnel can be extended to allow continuous flow of cargo without the impediment of doors.

Note: The system incorporating the isotopic source can be supplied with a two view option; the offset for the second detector set is approximately 35 degrees.
